Great Lakes Finesse – 2.1″ – Snack Craw
There are a ton of craw baits on the market, and most of them will catch fish. We designed this bait to be stealthy and non-threatening with a small profile to catch pressured, conditioned fish.
Three of the available six patterns feature floating claws that lift in a natural and slightly defensive posture – perfect for a ball head or NED head – while the other three patterns are made with our neutral buoyancy plastic that better suits dropshot or Carolina Rig presentations.
The industry trend with craw-style baits has been to add more features and more appendages, but our research and testing repeatedly showed that less is more when it comes to craws. This bait has no legs, and simple claws – when pulled forward on a jighead the claws push together and the bait slides away just like a real crayfish. The underside of the arms have relief cuts to allow the arms to hinge slightly for subtle action.

Great Lakes Finesse – 4″ – Drop Worm
Put the Dropworm (available in 4” and coming soon in 3”) head to head against any dropshot bait in the industry and you’ll see that the movement of this bait is among the best. That alone is worth putting a few packs in your gear bag, but we spent most of our time perfecting a different presentation – the deadstick dropshot.
Most other dropshot baits on the market either float or sink – not really a problem when you’re moving the bait quickly, but not useful if you’re holding the bait steady. The Dropworm has perfect neutral buoyancy and will sit horizontal in the strike zone without any extra effort by the angler.

Great Lakes Finesse – 2.25″ – Flat Cat
At first glance the 2.1” Flat Cat looks a little bit strange – but put it in the water and you’ll see why we’ve been using prototypes for years to catch giant smallmouth. This little bait was originally made in black and designed to mimic catfish fry, but we discovered that it’s absolutely deadly in many different colors. The thin tail with a micro paddle provides just the right amount of action to look like a baitfish, without flapping wildly and spooking finicky fish.
It fishes equally well nose-hooked on a dropshot or threaded onto a Great Lakes Finesse Matte Ball Head Jig and dragged along the bottom. The 2.1” Flat Cat is an incredibly effective bait for big smallmouth that also fires up jumbo perch, crappie, and walleye when it’s fished on the bottom or suspended under a float.

Great Lakes Finesse – 2.75″ – Drop Minnow
Designed in partnership with Travis Manson (SmallmouthCrush on Youtube), the Drop Minnow is in a league of it’s own. It’s extremely versatile – allowing you to drop shot it, Damiki rig it, hop it, swim it, or fish it like a Ned. The ribbed body provides a unique vibration in the water and the thin tail gives incredible lifelike action. When dead-sticked on a dropshot or suspended on a jig head the bait will sit perfectly horizontal giving it a natural appearance. The smallest amount of movement in the bait will have the tail twitching like crazy.
